Les Thraces au service de Dionysos

Depuis l’antiquité, la vigne est cultivée sur les terres Bulgare. Diverses sources témoignent qu’il y a plus de 4 000 ans, les Thraces vouaient un culte particulier aux dieux Dionysos et à Orphée.

Des vases et des coupes en or ont été retrouvé dans le trésor de Panagyurishte (Ville située entre Sofia et Plovdiv). Certains de ces objets, qui sont restés enterré pendant plus de vingt siècles, contenaient des traces de vin.

Mille ans avant les Romains, les Thraces ont réussie à développé des techniques et des outils spécifiques à la culture de la vigne et à la production du vin.
